Just over two weeks ago, Ben was deployed to Afghanistan to support the war on terror. Every day he puts his life on the line to support our safety and freedom as American citizens. I pray for his safe return and Dateline NBC aired a story in late June showing just how dangerous Afghanistan is for all of our troops. The last I heard Ben was performing a similar operation, building a new outpost in a remote region of the country.
